About

Darcey
Pittman

I’m an NYC-based video editor & content creator, specializing in short-form narrative content on social media. I got my start in video production on YouTube, making videos about my experience transferring colleges as an undergraduate student. Something I made struck a cord and thousands of people found my content to better understand the transfer experience. And as I became an NYU student, this propelled my channel even further. I quickly fell in love with all parts of the video production process. I thought it was merely a dream that I could get to do this for a living.

Today, I create engaging video content for brands, applying the skills I developed from my own work and my BA in journalism and MS in publishing from NYU. Currently, I am a Video & Social Media Producer at tech company NetApp where I lead the IT NetApp on NetApp video content program.

I am passionate about creating videos that tell compelling narratives and connect you with your target audience. If the pandemic taught us anything, it’s just how powerful video is in enabling people to connect and businesses to thrive. I enjoy all parts of the production process from start to finish, but I especially love video editing.
